Tony Bradman was born in London in 1954. He has written poetry, picture Ross Collins was born in Glasgow in 1972. In his last year at college, he won the Macmillan children's book prize. He lives in Glasgow and is now an established picture book illustrator. Alison Prince is a much-loved and critically-acclaimed writer. She was the winner of the Guardian Fiction Award in 1994, and winner of the Scottish Arts Council Children's Book of the Year 2002 for her novel Orange and Murder.
