The story is of 3 kids who skip school to avoid a history test. Hiding out in a mountain near their town, they encounter an extraterrestrial teenage. "Fizzle Z" is himself avoiding something - a dangerous enemy. High adventure takes them to other planets on ribbons of light and even back in time to meet Columbus (the subject of the history test).Battles with Fizzle Z enemies leads them on still more adventures.
