Great for age 3-6 years
All day long the moles dig tunnels and push up mole-hills. But one young mole gets bored - he wants to run and stretch and dance! "Moles can't dance," the other moles all tell him, but this young mole is determined to prove them wrong. So he decides to go out into the open air and find someone who will teach him to dance. He meets a cow, a frog, a fox and a woodpecker - but none of them can dance. Suddenly, though, he hears a loud banging noise and sees a girl dancing in a garden. He watches her and copies what she does and then dances home - past the astonished woodpecker, fox, frog and cow. The other moles are amazed too, but after watching the young mole for a while, they too come out and dance!
