I was born in England in 1949. My mother was from Germany and my father from Ireland. I have a daughter, Kirstie, and a son, Jamie. The children in this book are based on my three grandchildren, whom I love dearly: Rylan, Pierce and Scarlet. I started my working life as a children's nanny, then went on to open my own business in retail. After retiring I utilised my time by writing short stories to entertain my grandchildren. After the first one, my grandchildren asked for more. Christine Savage
