William Bedford William Bedford left school at fifteen to work on the east coast fishdocks, fairgrounds and farms before moving with his family to an American nuclear rocket base in a remote area of north Lincolnshire. He has since gone on to write The Glow-Worm Who Lost Her Glow. Sophie Joyce Sophie Joyce is a highly creative illustrator and The Glow-Worm Who Lost Her Glow is her first book with Egmont.
