Igor is a lonely wolf who badly needs a friend. He lives all by himself up in the hills and has no visitors, until one day Walter the dormouse comes to stay. Igor is very happy, and it seems his problem is solved, until he realises just how difficult it can be putting up with a room-mate. But, when he gets cross and sends Walter away, Igor soon realises just how lucky he was to have Walter to stay. After all, everyone needs a friend.
