Author: Jillian Powell is an ex-teacher of English and Art History. She is now a full-time writer, specialising in children's fiction and educational books. Jillian lives in Bristol. Illustrator: Elisa Squillace is an established illustrator whose work is well known in Europe. She lives and works in Italy. Bob Hartman is a performance storyteller par excellence. He has been entertaining audiences on both sides of the Atlantic for over 15 years with his books and performances, which bring together retellings of Bible stories and traditional tales from around the world with his own imaginative stories. His books are full of humour and insight, whilst his storytelling sessions are exciting, engaging, dynamic - and above all, interactive! Sanja's illustrations have also been featured on cards for UNICEF. Louise Gardner graduated from Wolverhampton University with a BA Honours degree in Visual Communication. She has been an illustrator ever since, and her worked has appeared on children's nightwear, mugs, soft toys, food packaging, tents and sleeping bags, as well as in children's books. As a child, Louise was always armed with a felt tip pen - in fact, she once had to go to hospital to have a pen lid removed from her nose! And when she was 7 years old she gave one of her drawings to the Queen at a Silver Jubilee celebration. Louise once had a pet rabbit called Socks and her favourite childhood toy was a rabbit called Susan! She lives in Somerset in a converted church beside a canal.
