He is the author of four books for young adults, including Monster's Proof, The Demon Queen and The Killing Sea. Barbara DaCosta's first collaboration with Ed Young, Nighttime Ninja , won the Children's Choice Award. She makes her home in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
