Moses in the Basket
The Pharoah of Egypt decrees that all the Hebrew boy babies should be drowned at birth. Yocheved hides her son, Moses, but as he grows this proves more tricky so she puts him in a basket in the reeds alongside the river Nile. One of the Pharoahs daughters hears the cries and rescues the baby, taking him to be raised alongside Egyptain royalty.
