Jessica Gunderson grew up in the small town of Washburn, North Dakota. She has a bachelor's degree from the University of North Dakota and an MFA in Creative Writing from Minnesota State University, Mankato. She has written more than fifty books for young readers. Her book Ropes of Revolution won the 2008 Moonbeam Award for best graphic novel. She currently lives in Madison, Wisconsin, with her husband and cat. Anika Fajardo is a former teacher and librarian. Her writing for both children and adults has been published widely and earned awards and grants. Nadine Takvorian grew up in the Bay Area and currently resides in Berkeley, CA. She graduated from the California College of Arts where she received her BFA in illustration with Distinction. In addition to illustrating, Nadine has been an art director in children's book publishing and an art assistant in the art department of Industrial Light & Magic.

Jason and the Argonauts
Jason is sent by King Pelias to find the magical Golden Fleece after the King hears about it from an oracle. Jason accepts the mission and hires fifty heroes including Hercules, Peleus, and Laertes, and commissions Argos to build a large ship. Thus flags off one the greatest voyages in Greek mythology the voyage of Jason and his group of warriors, the Argonauts. Overcoming tremendous odds, Jason moves relentlessly towards his goal. But he is not unaided in his mission. Insanely in love with him, the sorceress Medea ensures Jasons success at every turn.
