Roger Lancelyn Green was born in 1918. He loved storytelling and was fascinated by traditional fairy tales, myths and legends from around the world. His retellings include Egyptian, Greek and Norse legends, plus a retelling of Robin Hood. He died in 1987. Neville Teller was born in London and is a long time dramatist and abridger for BBC radio. His work currently features regularly on the Four o'clock Show, Radio 4 Extra's daily programme for children. In the Queen's Birthday Honours in 2006 he was awarded an MBE for services to broadcasting and to drama. He is married, has three sons and ten grandchildren.
