Andrew Gordon is a recent graduate of the celebrated MA illustration course at Cambridge. Wave the Flag and Blow the Whistle is his first picture book. Andrew lives and works in Middlesbrough. Ronda Armitage has written many boks for children. She is a trained counsellor, specializing in family therapy. She worked as a family councellor for NCH Action for Children for 13 years and currently works as a counsellor with NSPCC.
