Reading Planet Lift Off
Lift-off fully prepares young children for reading. 24 fiction and non-fiction books will develop essential early language skills through familiar early years topics, themes and stories. In Lift-off develop initial vocabulary and communication skills through 12 paired wordless books for Lilac. Young children will be encouraged to retell stories in their own words whilst learning the technical skills of handling and navigating a book. In Lift-off First Words very early readers will practise segmenting and blending Phase One and Two words in 12 paired first words books for Lilac+. This unique series bridges the gap between wordless books and first sentences through familiar stories that use very simple language.
