Dr. Christine King Farris is the older sister of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. , and Vice Chair of the Martin Luther King, Jr. , Center for Nonviolent Social Change. Herself a long-standing advocate for civil rights, she is a founder and Chairperson of the Board of Directors of the Martin Luther King, Jr. Child Development Center. Ms. King Farris is an Associate Professor of Education at Spelman College in Atlanta, Georgia, where she directs the Learning Resources Center. She is the author of MY BROTHER MARTIN and MARTIN LUTHER KING: HIS LIFE AND DREAM. London Ladd graduated from Syracuse University. He and his wife live in Syracuse with their daughter.
