Michael McCarthy, a Catholic priest, was Born in County Cork, Ireland, and now lives in Yorkshire. He feels that the mystery of the creative process and the mystery of spirituality are very close to each other, a feeling which is reflected in his work. He and artist Giuliano Ferri enjoyed an earlier collaboration with The Story of Noah and the Ark, which was a Books for Giving Selection in 2001. Giuliano Ferri's work has been exhibited around the world from the Pompidou Centre in Paris to the Itabashi Museum in Tokyo. Giuliano currently resides in the countryside in his native Pesaro, Italy, with his wife and their dog. Elena Pasquali is the pseudonym of an in-house author. Giuliano Ferri graduated from the Art Institute of Urbino, Italy, where he specialized in animation. He has since worked as a full-time illustrator and his art has been exhibited worldwide, from the Pompidou Center in Paris to the Itabashi Art Museum in Tokyo. Giuliano lives in his native Pesaro, Italy, where he enjoys the beauty of the surrounding countryside with his wife Francesca, and his dog.
